Rules of EquinoxEntrance Requirements:
2. Should problems arise between players, staff encourages an attempt first be made to reach a common ground. Do not broadcast publicly in chat or forums (flaming.) If further help is needed, please send a private message to staff. Reach out to the other player first, you must be mature to play here. 3. It is understood when an application is placed the player is here to role-play with others (not imaginary characters such as babies) in a medieval setting. The consequences of muling and power gaming are to have items taken from you at the staff's discretion. 4. Roleplay should be tasteful. Your ideas are welcome but how you role-play them may not be due to content, explicit nature, or intensity of description. If the role-play you share with another could cause embarassment in front of unseen eyes, take it elsewhere.
Game Rules: 2. The game and forum account staff will approve is for your use alone and is your responsibility. Another using your information with or without your knowledge will result in loss of game priviledges. 3. Active accounts are only guaranteed to active players who interact with others of the community. Life can become busy at times unexpectedly and staff will preserve your items for 60 days. If you will be gone longer than this, notify staff to make an arrangement. If you post your goodbyes, your account will be wiped. We hope you consider returning one day. 4. Each character from approval date will have a one month grace period. In that grace period, a player may change anything about their character one time. Outside the grace period, changes require stories posted on the forums to explain the character's new ambition and staff approval. Note: First names will not be changed past grace period and family name change must make sense. 5. Second characters are permitted per staff discretion. We ask a minimum time be spent here of three months before submitting an application. A second character may not know your first character or live between them as interaction betweem them is not possible. 6. Deletion of a character requires role-play and stories posted on the forums to explain their exit in order to receive approval for a replacement character. Multiple changes and deletions of characters will be monitored and handled on a case per case basis. 7. Players may have one residence and merchant stand per character. Requests for an additional residence for role-play advancement must be temporary and approved by staff. We will request the area be vacated if your time is extensive or deemed unwaranted. 8. There are cities open for general residency but others require natural citizenship. The university where your character will begin is open to all the races of the world. Your character will be held to the laws and expectations of any city they choose to settle in so be sure to learn about the place first. 9. Requests for items and assistance with role-play are encouraged. This does not mean they are guaranteed to be fulfilled. Post here on the request forums with your desires so we can best assist if possible. Item requests come with a charge of 5k per tile. Item pushes are 2k. House value increases are 100k. 10. To initiate a guild, please message a member of staff. We will do our best to accomodate you.
1. PvP must have role-play purpose. It requires consent between all included parties. Utilize .msg and .duel to prevent misunderstandings. Excessive PvP for its own sake will be addressed. 2. Rule 1 of this section is not a smokescreen for provoking another to the point where an attack is the only logical step. If you wish to avoid a fight, then diffuse the situation. 3. Wars may take place between races and guilds. When announced, players can decide to take part or to remain neutral and this decision lasts for the duration of the war. Wars may only take place at sanctioned locations and predetermined times as provided by staff and neutral parties must keep away from the battlefields providing aid only through trade or craft beforehand.
Forums & Chat: 2. Vulgarity, flaming, and rampant cursing is not acceptable. If your conversation may cause discomfort to others, take it privately. Please treat every new comer with consideration and respect. They may be your newest community member. Failure to do this can result in banning. 3. When posting in the forums, please be advised that untactful avatars or signatures will be removed and a warning sent to the user. Signatures must be kept a reasonable size so as not to interfere with postings. Repeated offenses will result in loss of forum privileges.
