Working late into the hours of the night are the select few across the realm whose need for knowledge knows no bounds. Some are born with the desire, while others learn it throughout their lives, and for others still... it is a necessity for survival. No matter where the desire to learn stems, it is a call that cannot be denied for them. They watch with hungry eyes as others go about their work or pause in
the halls to listen for a bit of information. There is nothing that they do not wish to learn about.

The witches and warlocks are learned and powerful magi, who push their limits beyond the common person. These mages of the advanced circles have withstood the tests of time and are legends in
the realm of Equinox.

For some mages, an understanding of magic is not enough. These are the chosen of Eärlindë. Each witch and warlock has their own beliefs, but Eärlindë watches over them closely without judgment. Whether they are acceptant of her graces or refuse her, she cares for her chosen children. The enlightened ones to whom no knowledge can be withheld. They are forever students and this is pleasing enough to Eärlindë.

The history of these often mysterious scholars can be found within the halls of the University where they excelled at a great variety of studies. The University was put forth into Equinox by Eärlindë and her creatures. While none will admit to being a warlock or a witch for different reasons, their handiwork is unmistakable. Much else is known about this strange people. It is a path steeped in superstition and legend… and just maybe most of it is true.

(As an advanced class, the role-play for this group is different. Whether a character is of good, evil,
or neutral alignment they are above all scholars. Knowledge is also something that may corrupt though role-play. This area is something that should carefully consider and discuss with staff beforehand.

We will not be listing the skill set for this class. We feel the role-play to achieve this class and
attaining the class of a witch or warlock is the most important part of the package. The mechanics
of the class should be learned about in game through experience to enhance your character
through discovery and exploration.)
