Travelling Equinox
Ship Captains:
These are NPCs that will help you travel around Equinox via sea vessel. This is not a ship that you own or a ship that you must command in order for it to sail the seas. He will take care of all this for you. You need only select a destination and pay for a ticket.
To learn of possible destinations, an example of what you might say to the Ship Captain is: "Where do you sail to?" The keyword in that sentence is "sail." The Ship Captain will list off the destinations currently available to sail through his ships. Mind you, the Ship Captain only goes to places of great interest. It is difficult to turn a profit if only one or two passangers wish to go to an island all the way across the world. There are some places you may need to travel by other means.
After listening to the different places the Ship Captain can take you, you will need to tell him where it is you would like to go. An example of what you might say is: "I wish to sail to Haverstoke." The keywords in that sentence is "sail to Haverstoke." The Ship Captain will state his price and you can choose to either accept or decline. If you accept, you will be taken aboard his vessel. Before long has past, you will be safe and sound at your destination.
These are the different ports that a Ship Captain might be found:

Privately Owned Vessels:
Sometimes you may want to go somewhere exotic or down a path less traveled. To truely explore Equinox you will find you or someone you know must have access to a boat. The boats may be purchased at Ship Wrights. Ship Wrights sell deeds to various styles of boat with varying sizes. These deeds guarantee you ownership of whatever boat it claims to be. Double-click the deed or toyboat in your pack while standing near water and you will be given the option to place your boat in the water.
After you have gained ownership of a seaworthy vessel, you will need to learn to captain it. Each ship comes with their own tillerman but he is of little help. He can only direction from you, the Captain. These are the commands that he will understand.
