In the realm that is Equinox, there is only one place where one can learn on any subject from the wisest of the land... the University.

This neutral place created by Eärlindë in the earliest days of learning is a refuge for all people in all different walks of life. Regardless of race, creed, or path, the University's doors stand open willing to admit any who wish to learn. The ancient stone building houses a place of safety and learning in the finest accommodations possible with the best instructors Equinox has to offer. The island where the University is located is lush in resources providing for everyone from the warrior desiring a place to test their blade, to the crafter searching for the rarest of materials. Even those who once attended in their early years find themselves returning to learn more for a newly found path or trade.

This wonderful place is not without its rules to keep the peace and all who enter the University are to be aware of the following regulations.

1. Instructions are to be paid for to the instructor giving the lesson directly.

2. To receive the full lesson, the student may not leave the designated school grounds. This includes the university itself, the surrounding island, and either of the training/hunting grounds accessible through the surrounding lands of the University. Those caught leaving the University grounds during a lesson will be considered truant, dropping out of the class. The lesson shall be halted and payments made for the lesson are deemed nonrefundable. The student shall not receive further lessons until such time as they return to the school and make payment for new classes.

3. Regardless of race, class, or creed all residents of Equinox are entitled to a fair education within the University of Eärlindë. As a student of the university engaging in combat against another student or visitor will not be tolerated. The university is a safe haven for all and a place of neutrality, we expect this to be respected. Should a situation arise where a student is found to be causing or promoting violence on school grounds, all faculty and staff shall refuse to grant further lessons until a period of suspension has been completed.

4. There are accommodations for students within the university. These dorms are temporary housing reserved for students only. Only students are to make use of the dormitories.

5. The dormitories at the university are not co-ed. Gentlemen should not be found within the ladies' quarters or vice versa. There are two entrances to the Library located at the rear of the University. Please use the appropriate hallways of your gender.

6. While the sleeping quarters, healers, and hallway outside of the ladies'/gentlemen's dorm are not co-ed; classrooms, the library, the dining hall, bar, and all other rooms are for use by all students regardless of gender.

7. It is rumored that there are secrets within the walls of the university that only the lucky or curious are able to uncover. Some of these rumors include secret passages. Should a passage be found, students are advised not to enter them or give knowledge of their existence to other students. Students found using the university's secrets for their own gain will be handled accordingly.
